Reese’s Potato Chips Review

As you know, we here at The Food Showdown love trying new foods. And here’s a new one: Reese’s Big Cup, with Potato Chips inside! As I’ve said before, Chocolate and Peanut Butter is my favorite two food flavor combination. So I am always a fan of Reese’s.

I have also always been a fan of Chocolate covered salty foods, like chocolate covered pretzels. Chips are also salty, so when I saw this, I knew I needed to hold a Reese’s Potato Chips Review. So will it hold up to the expectations? Find out below, in the 17th video of our 52 video series!

Reese’s Potato Chip Review Video Transcript:

Hey everyone! Another video on Reese’s. This time it is the Big Cup with potato chips inside. I’m assuming this should be good because chocolate covered salty things, like pretzels… I don’t know if I’ve ever had chocolate covered potato chips before… There’s two. But that’s usually pretty good. So this should be good too. Let’s see… unless the potato chips are bad.

I’m not getting much potato chip. I’m getting the texture of potato chips in there and that’s different. But not really much of a flavor difference… but maybe it is a little saltier? Hold on, let me do another bite here.

Okay so the first reaction is, I’m not tasting potato chip. Which I guess could be good or bad. But you know, if I wanted potato chips in there I probably wanted to taste the potato chips. So I’m not too impressed by that.

They also show like a whole bunch of potato chips all in there. And I mean if you look at that there’s like one in there, maybe. That I can see right now. So maybe that’s what they need to do? It needs to look like this so I can actually taste the potato chips. So that’s a little disappointing. The rest tastes just like a Reese’s peanut butter cup so that’s good, at least. They didn’t mess that up. Haha.
