Funky Food Taste Test

We like trying new foods. And Jill found a bunch of Funky Food that she wanted to surprise me with. So we held a taste test of them all in YouTube Short format. So the tests are short and sweet (Pun intended)!

Introduction

I’m told we’re recording. Jill is finding funky food to surprise me with. And so I don’t know what they are. We’re gonna do a 10 part series of me just getting to test these out. Having fun! All right, I guess she’s showing them to you. I am. I’m totally showing them the 10 different things that you’re going to try. Awesome! Yay! Can’t wait!

Part One: Pizza Gummies

Part one of funky foods that Jill found for me and is surprising me with. I don’t know what any of them are, so let’s go. Okay part one are these gummy pizza slices. I love pizza! I know you love pizza, and I saw these and I thought oh my goodness you gots to try them. So they’re like the shark material you know like, that like, the sharks… Oh yeah! The creamy… creamy gummy? It feels like a shark. What is the flavor? Fruit juice. Real pizza! No, it’s a, it’s from… All you people making gummies out there, make real pizza flavored gummies. I will buy it! Yes!

This is made in Turkey and it’s imported by Just Sweet, which is a woman-owned business. Oh well there you go. I think it tastes good. They’re sweet. I got another one. They’re good. And I like that texture. Okay, should we do thumbs up, thumbs down? Thumbs up! Oh just one. K-bye.

Part Two: Idaho Spud

Part two of the funky things Jill has found for me. Now it’s… Idaho Spud! I don’t even know! It’s so funny, it says the candy bar that makes Idaho famous. But the potatoes make Idaho famous. I don’t even know if there’s potatoes in it? Also the joke, but…

Oh, you may not like this. Oh no, it’s coconut. You may not like this. Okay apparently that’s supposed to look like a potato? Yeah. I don’t like coconut, so… There’s a lot going on there. What is that? It’s like airy, fluffy, marshmallowy but not. It’s like the inside of a three musketeer but softer? No… mmm maybe. Wow. You know for not liking coconut, I didn’t really get much coconut um so I had a tiny bite. I thought the tiny bite was alright. Okay up or down? Thumbs up or down? Yeah I agree, I don’t know. It’s very strange.

Past Three: Starburst Swirlers

Part three of Jill’s buying me funky foods that I’m surprised by. What’s the next one? These are starburst swizzlers! That says swirlers. Oh… swirlers! Swizzlers, haha. I think I prefer swizzlers. Ok, we have 2 flavor combinations: Which is basically, that’s strawberry and cherries, like the best. That’s the pink. This is the orange and strawberry, and this is the cherry lemon. Basically, what they’ve done is they have taken the Starburst and made it into a stick. Oh! But it’s not the right… it’s not the right consistency. I’ve had some of these. Oh it’s like hard. It’s hard. But it tastes just like starburst. This tastes like a pink. It’s just in a different life experience. Yeah I don’t say it beats Starburst, because of the hardness. But… I think I’d just rather have a Starburst. Individual flavor. Yeah. Anyhow, there you go.

Part Four: Sour Kicks

Part four of funky weird foods that Jill surprises me with. What is it? These are Sour Kicks. And I just think it’s funny because they have, they’re just like sneakers. Sour Kicks, Sneakers… ok. The fact that it’s a little sneaker. What flavor you want? It looks like there’s orangish, a clear one, a red one… oh they’re hard. Kids and grown-ups love it so… the happy world of harbio. Haribo. Haribo. This is the thing we’re learning; I cannot read things. They’re not that sour but they’re hard to chew. Although sometimes the the Haribo gummy bears are hard to chew too. But the flavor is good. Yeah. This is when we did the taste test for them, for the gummy bears. We concluded the flavor is spectacular the texture not so good. There you go. I’ll give it a thumbs up. Yeah.

Part Five: Fruity Pebbles Birthday Cake

Part five of funny weird foods that Jill finds, or funky foods Jill finds and surprises me with. Funky foods. These are Fruity Pebbles Birthday Cake Candy Bar. Which I think basically means it’s fruity pebbles inside of white chocolate. Okay it is very colorful, a little bit broken, and just I mean they’re just like, uh, what is that? Squares. Rectangles. I’m never a big fan of white chocolate. That’s gonna be like milk. Pretend like it’s milk. Oh it’s supposed to be like milk! Yeah but birthday cake. That is so sweet. Oh that is so birthday cake! So sweet! No thank you. Wow, nope, not. Too sweet. Well, if you like sweet things… No, what do you say? No thank you. Yeah too sweet.

Part Six: Warheads Cubes

Part six of the Funky Foods Jill surprises me with. Okay these are Warheads Cubes Sour. what’s the difference between a hard Warhead and a Cube? Oh, they’re chewy. Yeah, chewy, soft. There are a lot of flavor options here. Uh, red.

That, you’re always really good at guessing. Purple! I’m going purple. I got green apple. there’s orange, watermelon, blue raspberry, green apple, strawberry, and black cherry.

They’re more sour than the two parts ago uh Haribo Sour Kicks. But they’re not as sour as I thought the Warheads were. Do you remember Warheads? I think the harder, is like easier to get more sour in. Yeah they’re good if you like sour. That’s what I say. Good if you like sour, and I don’t hate it. Yeah good. Cool, thumbs up.

Part Seven: Victor Allen Raspberry Mocha Iced Latte Chilled Coffee Drink

Part seven of Funky Foods Jill surprises me with and this time there’s a glass. Yeah because I got razz- I know you don’t like coffee, so I’m sorry. But I had to try this because it’s Raspberry Mocha Iced Latte Chilled Coffee Drink. So I just have never ever in a million years thought to put raspberry in my coffee. Me neither. Well you don’t drink coffee, but like we’ve got to just give it a try. Well it looks like chocolate milk, though I will be disappointed because it’s not chocolate milk.

No! Oh no! I don’t like it. The raspberry flavor is a kick and aftertaste afterwards and I’m just not a fan of that with… it’s not very strong coffee. Not strong coffee…. um honestly the one flavor I don’t like in coffee, is kind of hidden by this. Oh well then maybe you’ve got to get yourself some Raspberry Mocha Iced Latte Chilled Coffee Drink. There you go. If you don’t like coffee, try this!

Part Eight: Magical Poop Marshmallows

Part eight of the Funky Foods Jill surprises me with. Magical Poop Marshmallows! How could I not get them? Poop? They are artificially flavored. It’s not real poop?! No. I don’t want it then. I don’t know what the actual flavor is though. There you go. It also doesn’t… I mean it’s kind of like a poop. You know, like a little poop emoji? Oh is it?

The dog’s farting so bad that that’s all I smell. So I can’t even taste this. What does it taste like?

Nothing. Yeah. Artificially flavored. I don’t even know what the flavor is supposed to be! Vanilla? They have vanilla in it yup I don’t taste the vanilla. I get it now. Now that I know what it’s supposed to be. I also don’t taste poop, so that’s a good thing. Yeah, no poop! Yay! I’m not, I’m not a fan of it. Yeah, I’m gonna go down.

Part nine: Birthday Cake Rice Cakes

Part nine of the Funky Foods Jill surprising me with. It is? These are birthday cake bites: mini rice cake reimagined. That’s a mouthful. I think they’re like rice cakes. Birthday cake Rice Cakes with like itty-bitty funfettis. Oh, it’s like it’s like popped… puff things, if you will you… you can have 21 pieces for 90 calories. There’s icing on it! Oh I don’t hate that at all. Yeah, that’s really good. It’s drizzilicious! Haha! I got this at the dollar store. These are really good! If you can’t tell. Wow I really like these. Yeah, yeah! A double thumbs up on this! Wow! Well done!

Part Ten: Peach Rings Chili Lime Spicy: Tajin

Final, part 10, of the Funky Foods Jill surprises me with. Whatcha got? These are peach rings chili lime spicy. Peach rings, I love pea… but they’re spicy? Well I mean it’s like the chili, lime, peach, sweet and spicy. I love regular peach rings I think they’re called Peach-O’s or whatever. I don’t think these are officially Peach-O’s. Oh wow, yeah. They’re thicker and there’s like spices on them… If this will focus. What’s this thing called?

Tajin? I dunno.

There is a kick to that. It’s Chewy. I can’t talk, it’s so chewy. That’s nice though. It takes a while to chew. I’m happy that I tried it. Yeah. I’m like a ‘meh.’ I give it a ‘meh’ to kind of a thumbs up. Because if you like spicy gummy things this is great.
